15th October 2014 Research Roadshow

roadshow flyer 4 pic

Patient and public involvement is valuable in research and is recognised as a way of producing more effective healthcare delivery and outcomes for patients. The key to this is developing a dialogue between researchers and service users, with the common goal of improved outcomes and quality of care. This event will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to meet research teams, from Leicestershire’s Biomedical Research Units (BRUs); Leicestershire, Northampton and Rutland (LNR) Collaborative Leadership for Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC); and the Diabetes Research Network, to gain an overview of a selection of recent or on-going
projects. The event will also showcase potential opportunities for members of the public to get involved in research studies and to contribute to our research agenda.

For further details and to register for the event contact us on:

Tel 0116 204 4737 or email rp237@le.ac.uk

Hosted at the Cumulus Room, Leicester Diabetes Centre, Leicester General Hospital LE5 4PW
