Researchers at the Leicester Respiratory Biomedical Research Unit (BRU) believe it is important for patients and members of the public to be involved in research and are keen to hear what you think about our research. If you would like to have an active involvement in our research please join our Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) group.

INVOLVE is a national advisory group funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). INVOLVE support active public involvement in research, the NHS and public health. Involve define public involvement in research as research being carried out ‘with’ or ‘by’ members of the public rather than ‘to’, ‘about’ or ‘for’ them. This could include, for example, helping researchers design their research, assisting or commenting on research materials or joining an advisory group.
